ATP Theory

The aim of the ATP Theory is to master the Syllabus for the 13 theoretical subjects and pass the relevant EASA exams.

Entry Requirements

  • Hold an EASA PPL.

Course Structure

Ground Training / 750 Hrs Teaching

The purpose of the ground training is to teach the syllabus for the ATP exams. For this purpose, we cooperate with Bristol Ground School in offering either fulltime classroom training (this option is offered twice per year) or distance learning which is then followed by 75 hrs of classroom review. The 13 subjects are the following:
  1. 1. Air Law
  2. 2. Aircraft General Knowledge
  3. 3. Instruments & Electronics
  4. 4. Flight Performance and Planning - Mass and Balance;
  5. 5. Performance
  6. 6. Flight Planning & Monitoring
  7. 7. Human Performance & Limitations
  8. 8. Meteorology
  9. 9. General Navigation
  10. 10. Radio Navigation
  11. 11. Operational Procedures
  12. 12. Principles of Flight; and
  13. 13. VFR & IFR Communications

Fees and Payment Schedule (for minimum hours as per above flight training program)

  • Option A – Fulltime Classroom Training: €8.500 paid with enrolment into the course, or

  • Option B – Distance Learning followed by Classroom Review: €3.500 paid with enrolment into the course.

Note: If required, hard copies of Bristol Ground School manuals could be purchased at an additional fee.
