  • In the case of the TRI for multi-pilot aeroplanes:
The issue, revalidation and renewal of type ratings for:
    a. multi-pilot aeroplanes
    b. single-pilot high performance complex aeroplanes when the applicant seeks privileges to operate in multi-pilot operations

Dento ATO TRI/SFI Course Structure:

In view of the above Dento’s ATO TRI Course is structured in three parts as follows:

PART 1 (formerly known as Core Course):

The 25hrs “Teaching and Learning”, is taught in a classroom over 4 days – this part can be conducted separately from Part 2 & 3.

PART 2:

The 10hrs “Technical Training”, is also been taught in the classroom over 2 days – this part need to be conducted together or just prior to Part 3.

PART 3:

The 10hrs Multi-Pilot flight instructions in the simulator will need to comply as in one of the two cases as herebelow: Two trainees training together, will need a total of 10hrs, i.e. 5hrs each, or One trainee training alone, will need a total of 10hrs.

Assessment of Competence (AoC):

At the end of Part 3, each trainee will need 2hrs AoC in a simulator.

TRAINING RECOMMENDATIONS

It is always highly recommended to have two trainees training together for a TRI/SFI Course because people learn more by ‘watching others’ and is cost effective, i.e. when two pilots train together, the cost for ach pilot for Part 3, is based only on 5hrs FFS instead of 10hrs FFS.
