This route is similar of the Modular ATPL however you will be skipping , CLP, PBN and UPRT.

PREQUISITES
  1. To proceed with extending your rating from SEP to MEP you must of course have already obtained and hold a valid EASA PPL
  2. Hold a valid class 1 medical certificate.
  3. Minimum 18 years of age.
  4. Night Rating as IR can be used at night.
  5. 50 Hrs Cross Country flight

STEPS

1. QUALIFY AS PER PREQUISITES

If you have not completed any of the above prerequisistes before proceeding any further you should complete your Night Rating or your 50 Hrs Cross Counrty. If you require hours on your cross country you can check out our Hour Building packages for more information. 

2.  ENROL FOR YOUR IR THEORY 

COURSE STRUCTURE 

Ground Training / 150 Hrs Teaching

The purpose of the ground training is to teach the syllabus for the IR exams. For this purpose, we cooperate with Bristol Ground School in offering either fulltime classroom training (this option is offered twice per year) or distance learning, which is then followed by 15 hrs of classroom review.

The 7 subjects are the following:

  1. Air Law;
  2. Aircraft General Knowledge – Instrumentation;
  3. Flight Planning and Monitoring;
  4. Human Performance;
  5. Meteorology;
  6. Radio Navigation; and
  7. Communications

3. ENROL FOR MEP RATING

COURSE STRUCTURE 

Ground Training 7 Hrs 

The aim of the MEP course is to train pilots in obtaining the required qualification in order to obtain a Milti Engine Piston Class Aeroplanes Rating.

4. ENROL FOR MODULAR INSTRUMENT RATING (IR) ON MEP 

COURSE STRUCTURE 

Ground Training 7 Hrs 

The aim of the Modular IR on MEP is to train pilots MEP licensed pilots in obtaining the required qualification in order to engage in Pilot in Command with MEP under Instrument Flight Rules.

    € 5.000, with €500 paid on enrolment onto the course and €1.500 at the start of the course and then 3 payments of €1.000 payable at the 1st, 3rd and 5th month of the course; and

    FOR MEP RATING

    € 500, with enrolment and € 4.500 prior to the commencement of the flight training.

    FOR MEP IR 

    € 500 with enrolment into the course; and € 16.000 prior to the commencement of the flight training.

  • DISTANCE LEARNING OPTION

    FOR IR THEORY 

    € 2.500, with €500 paid on enrolment onto the course and €2.000 at the start of the course.

    FOR MEP RATING

    € 500, with enrolment and € 4.500 prior to the commencement of the flight training.

    FOR MEP IR 

    € 500 with enrolment into the course; and € 16.000 prior to the commencement of the flight training.
